This strange world
Reality is not designed for us, and yet we are here, thinking, wondering, hurting, and loving. Thatās worth something. No grand design may be evident, but this emergent phenomenon of consciousness, of you exists. That uniqueness invites engagement.
Imagine the vastness of our cosmos, there is almost an infinite amount of stars, planets, dwarf planets, or any other types of rock that we give names to in this almost infinite space that is all around us. And imagine how many of these rocks, are just rocks. There is nothing there. THere is no quest to be found there, no reason to explore it, it's just rock. There is not a purpose for this planet, it just is. There can never be life there, there can never be anything there, it just is. And there is a near infinite amount of these planets around us.
These planets are also separated by space, going from planet to planet takes us years at the moment. for our furthest planets in the solar system decades. And then imagine going from solar system to solar system. From galaxy to galaxy, from one end of space to the other. The infinite vastness of space is overwhelming. And here we are, on this small planet, where there is life abundant. All fighting for survival, all fighting to be as successful as we can become.
Divinity, where it exists, wouldn't conform to dogma. The unknown is not a gap to plug, but a landscape to explore. You may contemplate gods, higher intelligence, or archetypal realities but you are not beholden to them, for you cannot perceive them truly, they do not lay down laws upon humanity, humans do. They aren't beholden to us, life and the universe is neutral, there is no such thing as fairness. Reality is what it is. Donāt expect it to be fair. And because of this, suffering is universal and no one truly escapes it, compassion reduces unnecessary harm, for humans, animals and plants alike. Do good not because of cosmic reward, but because suffering matters and youāre capable of easing it.
